Sydney Children's Hospitals Network is the largest paediatric health care entity in Australia. We care for thousands of children each year in our hospitals and in their homes — with one purpose in mind — to help young people live their healthiest lives.

We are looking for an experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2 to join our Immunisation Service at the Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network (SCHN). In this advanced practice role, you will provide expert leadership and deliver high-quality immunisation services across both low and high-risk patient groups under the National Immunisation Program, seasonal flu, COVID-19, and other vaccination initiatives. You will work collaboratively across Randwick Children’s Hospital (SCH) and The Children’s Hospital at Westmead (CHW) to ensure the safe, timely, and effective delivery of immunisation services. You will work closely with the Medical Lead and Nursing Management to ensure best practice, clinical governance, and continuous improvement in immunisation services across the network.
Key responsibilities include providing clinical leadership, supporting staff education, coordinating patient cohorts, and driving continuous quality improvement initiatives. This role requires a compassionate and person-centred approach to care, particularly for vulnerable populations including high-risk children and immunisation-hesitant families.
The position operates Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays, within a fast-paced and supportive healthcare environment committed to excellence and innovation in immunisation delivery. If you are a registered nurse with Authorised Nurse Immuniser status and relevant post-registration experience in immunisation, we encourage you to apply and contribute to improving the health outcomes of children across our network. Please include evidence of your Authorised Nurse Immuniser accreditation with your application.
