Job Requirements
• Responsible for the ordering, storing, and security of drugs and medicines and ensuring an adequate supply of medicines at all times.
• To provide information and advice about drugs, their side effects, correct dosage, and proper storage to the patients or users.
• Accurately dispense medications.
• Maintains separate records for specified medicines as per the Drug Rules and removes expired and damaged drugs from the pharmacy inventory.
• Keep pharmacy clean & under prescribed temperature and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Responsible for keeping patient records/ bills updated and generating reports as & when needed
Work Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy or pharmacology.
• Proven experience as a pharmacist.
• Valid license to practice as a pharmacist.
• Detailed understanding and knowledge of dosage requirements and administration, chemical compounds, and pharmaceutical brands.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and software applications, used by pharmacies, such as MEDITECH and Mediware.
• Great organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• B.Pharma / D.Pharma with Karnataka State Pharmacy License.
• Should have good knowledge of drugs.
• Should know about FDA rules & regulations
