We have multiple Clinical Psychologist roles available in our Starship Paediatric Consult Liaison Team!
Permanent position
Flexible - these roles can be combined for a fulltime 1FTE role or remain as part-time 0.5FTE.

Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity
We are a friendly, hard-working and motivated service that provide mental health assessments and interventions for children; adolescents and their whānau (family) attending Starship inpatient and outpatient services.
We have Clinical Psychologist roles available in the following services:
5FTE Starship Renal Team (primarily working with Children and young people on the dialysis/transplant programme)
5FTE Paediatric Oncology Service (working with children/young people with brain tumours requiring neuropsychological assessment as part of their treatment and follow-up)
5FTE Starship Paediatric Complex Pain Team (provide high-quality clinical psychology assessments and interventions for children and adolescents with complex pain needs)
Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills
As a Registered Clinical Psychologist, you will:
Provide a high quality; evidence based clinical psychological service to children and families.
Be required to do neuropsychology assessments in the Oncology Service.
Have prior clinical psychology experience working with children and adolescents.
Previous clinical experience with paediatric medical services is an advantage but not a requirement
Actively participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to specialist information/ knowledge to the planning of care.
Maintain a clinical caseload and administrative systems.
