About the Role
In this role you will be responsible for tracking, preparing, creating, maintaining and filing patient medical records. At times this can be both a busy and physically demanding role and therefore you need to be reasonably fit, and function effectively as part of a team while maintaining a high level of attention to detail. This role would suit someone with an understanding of the health sector or records management. The salary range is $58,150 - $64,584
About the Team/Service Location
Our team in Clinical Records are responsible for the safe, effective and efficient management of patient records. Our goal is to ensure we deliver a well-organised and timely administrative support function that is responsive and flexible to the changing needs of the service and organisation.
About you
Administration experience in a health environment
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise changing workloads while preserving accuracy and confidentiality
Self-motivated, with the ability to work unsupervised (where applicable)
High level of English comprehension with excellent written and oral communication skills
Knowledge of the Privacy Act and other legislation relevant to patient records
