What you'll be doing
As a Clinical Support Officer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the smooth functioning of the unit by delivering timely, accurate and proactive administrative support. Working under broad supervision, you will exercise initiative, manage competing priorities and contribute to safe, person-centred care.
In this role, you will:
Coordinate workforce administrative tasks including rostering, recruitment and leave support
Complete accurate data entry and assist with reports for patient care, quality activities and incident management
Manage stock levels, ensuring medical supplies and equipment are available for daily clinical operations
Maintain essential registers including credentialing, registration and enrolment records
Provide administrative support for unit meetings, including scheduling and document preparation

Selection Criteria:
Has Certificate III in Health Administration or willing to complete within 6 months of start date.
Excellent communication skills including accurate spelling, good comprehension, in both oral and written word.
Demonstrated experience word processing, spreadsheet & database software.
Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines & time management.
Experienced in using Oracle, and other ordering software for ordering medical supplies and consumables.
Capacity to work under broad supervision and to undertake a diverse range of tasks as an effective member of a team in a high-pressure, high-volume work environment
