He kōrero whakamārama mō tēnei tūranga | About the role
We are seeking a driven and self-motivated Clinical Team Leader for Canterbury's District Nursing Team. They will develop, lead, and provide clinical supervision and oversight to the team of registered nurses responsible for the delivery of a high standard of clinical services to Access clients/tāngata across the wider Canterbury region (occasional travel expected in the role). They will aim to ensure that professional development is on-going for every team member and integrated into practice and to embrace and promote a strong, high-performing team culture.
Ngā kawenga matua | Key responsibilities
To maintain oversight of the delivery of service according to multiple contract specifications.
To recruit, manage and lead a multi-disciplinary team of community nurses and others in a highly flexible service response environment.
To liaise closely with teams across the region to ensure optimum workflows and excellence are achieved.
To maintain oversight of high needs assessments and care packages.
To Manage complaints and exception reporting.
Ngā tohungatanga mō tēnei tūranga | Skills and experience
Registered Nurse with a current Annual Practising Certificate
5+ years of practical nursing experience (Community Nursing preferred)
Proven leadership experience, driving change and service improvements
A specialty clinical interest (preferred but not essential)
Full driver's licence
Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word
