The Opportunity
We invite you to join the Kari Centre, an exciting and dynamic Child and Adolescent Mental Health outpatient service that provides assessment and therapy to children, young people, and their families within the central Auckland area.
As a member of the team, your role will involve working both individually and collaboratively with other professionals to deliver high-quality assessment, formulation and goal-based therapeutic interventions to children and adolescents, as well as their whānau. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that both the young person and their whānau are actively involved in their own care and decision-making processes, working towards their identified goals, and empowering them to lead fulfilling lives.
Currently we are seeking applications from practitioners interested in working in the acute part of our service. You will provide acute assessments, brief therapeutic interventions, liaison services in the community and management of referrals.

Important Skills
To be considered for this role, you will be an experienced registered Social Worker/Occupational Therapist / Mental Health Nurse / Psychotherapists or Clinical Psychologist with a current NZ Registration and practicing certificate.
Our ideal candidate will also have previous experience working with children and Youth within a mental health setting, work well as part of a team and under pressure.
As this is a community role, a full and clean drivers licence is required.
