Job Description

· Seeking a Clinical Team Member to join our Child & Adolescent team at Tupu Ora to provide evidence-based therapeutic treatment to our whaiora and their whanau.
We welcome applications from experienced registered Nurses, Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, Psychotherapists and Social Workers.
Monday to Friday, we currently have a full-time position available.
Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity

Tupu Ora is a regional specialist eating disorders service providing assessment and treatment for, children, adolescents and adults with eating disorders. Tupu Ora also provides consultation to and liaison with community services and hospitals in the Metro Auckland and Northland region.

Tupu Ora has a continuum of services including community/outpatient, intensive day programme and residential options. The Tupu Ora community team provides specialist treatment to children, adolescents and adults presenting with moderate to severe eating disorders in the community and outpatient setting. Our community team has both child and adolescent and adult sub-teams.

The successful applicant will bring flexibility, excellent communication and interpersonal skills to the team. They will have a strong commitment to a multi-disciplinary team approach having previously worked within the mental health sector with children, adolescents and their families.

Tupu Ora has a commitment to providing evidenced based treatment, so familiarity with eating disorders treatment models would be an advantage, full orientation and support will be given. The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, especially Family Based Treatment within a multidisciplinary child & adolescent mental health service.

You will be currently registered with the appropriate board in New Zealand, depending upon your specific discipline and have a current APC. We also require candidates to have a full-NZ driver licence as this is a community focused role.
