Job Summary
The Team
The Aquatic Ecosystems Branch is a dedicated team of 45 professionals working across British Columbia to enhance the health of fish and aquatic ecosystems. The team collaborates widely across government and with Indigenous communities, playing a critical role in shaping environmental, cultural, and economic outcomes. Their work is deeply rooted in advancing reconciliation and ensuring the sustainability of natural resources for future generations.

The Role
The Branch Coordinator for the Aquatic Ecosystems Branch, plays a crucial role in keeping the team organized and connected. This position supports the Branch Executive Director and leadership team while contributing to a positive and professional work environment. There are ample opportunities to develop new skills and contribute to meaningful work that has a lasting impact on environmental and community well-being across British Columbia.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements

Secondary school graduation or equivalent.
Experience leading others.
Experience working in an office setting.

About this Position:
This is a temporary opportunity until March 21, 2025. This position may be extended or become permanent.
Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work up to two (2) days at home per week subject to an approved telework agreement.
An eligibility list may be established to fill future temporary and permanent vacancies.
A Criminal Record Check (CRC) will be required.
Employees of the BC Public Service must be located in BC at the time of employment.
