Treasury at Deutsche Bank is responsible for sourcing, managing, and optimizing Deutsche Bank's financial resources and providing high-quality steering to the business on financial resource deployment.
Treasury's fiduciary mandate encompasses the Bank's funding pools, asset and liability management (ALM), liquidity reserves management, and supporting businesses in delivering their strategic targets at the global and local levels. Further, Treasury manages all financial resources' optimization to implement the group's strategic objective and maximize long-term return on average tangible shareholders' equity (RoTE).
The current role is part of the Treasury Office in Mumbai. The position requires interactions with all key hubs i.e., London, New York, Frankfurt, and Singapore.
Role Description
Within Liquidity management (LM) team, this role is responsible for defining, implementing and maintaining the Group’s global LM governance and framework. In addition, the team is responsible to coordinating the ongoing ILAA process within LM and in conjunction with LRM and producing the annual ILAAP document as part of the Bank’s regulatory SREP submission.

Your Key Responsibilities
Co-ordinate and establish an adequate policy framework on group level and ensure local application and implementation.
Contribute to preparing the annual ILAAP submission – co-ordinate delivery of inputs, ascertain adherence to regulatory standards in co-operation with Risk, Control, Audit, Finance.
Contribute to developing adequate control processes to manage non-financial risks within Liquidity Management.
Continuous improvement and development of Liquidity Management’s governance framework.
Implement and own Liquidity Management’s regional engagement model – control and document local deviations.
Your Skills & Experience
Experience within a Treasury or Risk department or business unit / support unit of a commercial, retail, or investment bank.
Experience in drafting documentation to Board or Regulatory standard (e.g ILAAs, Internal policy documents).
Ideally have had interaction and experience with Risk, Control, Audit functions.
Possess high degree of commercial awareness going along with a strong interest in risk and control activities.
Articulate with excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to interface with business units and stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and demonstrated ability to work independently.
Experienced in working with MS-Office-Applications
