We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Fashion Designer specializing in ethnic women's wear.
Job Description
• Trend Research and Analysis: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in ethnic fashion, textiles, and embellishments to create innovative designs.
• Design Development: Develop original and unique designs for ethnic women's wear and traditional garments, considering factors such as drape, texture, and color.
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of traditional Indian craftsmanship, excellent knowledge of different fabrics, and their properties. A strong portfolio showcasing a variety of ethnic wear designs is required.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and conceptualization of ethnic women's wear and traditional garments.
• Trend research and analysis to stay current with industry developments.
• Sketching and draping techniques to visualize garment concepts.
• Fabric selection, pattern making, and sampling to ensure accurate execution of designs.
• Garment construction, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and attention to detail.
• Collaboration with the design team to ensure seamless execution of designs.
• Presentation of design concepts and mood boards to the creative team and management.
• Quality control to ensure the quality and consistency of finished garments.
Requirements
• 2+ years of experience as a Fashion Designer specializing in ethnic women's wear.
• Strong understanding of traditional Indian craftsmanship and textiles.
• Expertise in sketching, draping, pattern making, and garment construction techniques.
• Excellent knowledge of different fabrics and their properties.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of ethnic wear designs.

Research, ideate, implement and execute improved strategies for increasing design efficiency.
