18startup is a community that supports first-time entrepreneurs and student entrepreneurs. These entrepreneurs often lack the guidance, mentorship, resources, market connections, and funds required to scale their ideas to the next stage.
We are now expanding our admissions team and looking for a Closure Specialist who can confidently speak with founders and guide them.
About the Role
This is not a cold-calling role.
You will speak to warm inbound leads, founders who have already shown interest. Your role is to:
• Understand their ambition and context
• Clearly explain how the accelerator helps
• Qualify them and move them forward in the selection process
You are the first real conversation a founder has with 18startup, clarity and confidence matter.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct structured qualification calls with warm inbound leads
• Understand founder needs, stage, and intent
• Communicate the accelerator’s value in simple, convincing language
• Move prospects from L1 → L2 and support final closures
• Maintain clean CRM records (Notion / Sheets / Zoho)
• Consistently achieve weekly & monthly admissions targets
Who We’re Looking For
• 1+ year experience in EdTech, training, startup sales, admissions, or early-stage BD
• Ready for adapt in target based environment (Non-negotiable)
• Strong communication skills in English + Hindi (regional languages are a plus)
• Comfortable speaking with founders, students, and early entrepreneurs
• High ownership, discipline, and execution mindset
• Basic understanding of startups, accelerators, funding, or founder journeys (big plus)
Compensation
• CTC: ₹3,00,000 – ₹3,20,000
• Fixed: ₹1,00,000 – ₹1,20,000
• Variable (performance-linked): up to ₹2,00,000
