About Us
We are As If Designer Recycle, a small business based in Albert Park specialising in curated pre-loved designer women’s fashion. Our clientele not only includes shoppers but also consignors whose pieces we sell. Our team is small but dynamic, with six people working closely together to keep things moving quickly and creatively. We are constantly receiving large batches of clothing, and because our pieces are one-of-a-kind, we work at a fast pace to get them photographed and uploaded to our website as quickly as possible.
Job Description
We’re currently looking for a confident and creative individual to join us as a clothing model and content creator for Instagram and TikTok.
You’ll be helping us work through incoming stock efficiently, trying on and photographing yourself in pieces to be uploaded to the website and taking short catwalk videos to be uploaded to instagram. Being organised, adaptable, and comfortable working at speed is important, as we aim to keep new arrivals flowing consistently.
Beyond modelling, you’ll create engaging content that showcases new pieces - whether that’s styling videos, try-ons, or speaking directly to our audience. Confidence in front of the camera is essential, as is the ability to communicate naturally and connect with viewers. Additionally, you will have to edit and upload these videos so that they are ready for social media.

We offer a 10% staff discount on all of our stock.
You need to be able to work 5 or 6 hour days 2 or 3 days a week. Our opening hours are 11:00am-5:00pm Tuesday to Friday and 11:00am - 4:00pm Saturday. There is PT directly outside of our store if you don't have a car (Tram Route 1).
Requirements
* No prior work experience required *
- Applicants must be able to fit a size 8 (you will be wearing clothing this size and above)
- Applicants need to be at least 5'7"
- Must be fluent in English
- Must be comfortable being photographed, filmed and speaking in front of a camera
- Must be comfortable editing videos on Instagram and TikTok
- Must be able to start within the next couple of weeks
- You must want to enjoy yourself and have a fun time!
