Key Duties & Responsibilities
• IT professional who is responsible for overseeing a company's cloud computing strategy for clients to provide services with an appetite to contribute solutions to offer as part of the sales team. This includes cloud adoption plans, cloud application, design, and cloud management and monitoring.
• Oversee application architecture and deployment in cloud environments including public cloud, private cloud and hybrid cloud.
• The candidate will be required to architect, design and implement solutions using different service offered by MS Azure and combination of enterprise management solutions (Backup/Monitoring/Automation etc.)
• Act as a consultant to the organization clients and need to stay up-to-date on the latest trends and issues.
• Be able to recognize, evaluate and communicate beneficial options and variations.
• Need to want to change their skill sets and want to embrace new things
• Include a strong understanding of cloud computing technology and infrastructure as well as experience designing and migrating applications to the cloud.
• Should have experience in a consultant role, as they need to build relationships with the partners.
• Need to implement & integrate tools and services for all areas of cloud computing, such as data and networks, cloud security and networking as well as dominate ecosystem IaaS and PaaS OEMs.
• You will join the scoping & implementation team and focus on adding hands-on technical expertise, ensuring outcomes meet the highest technical standards.
• We expect our consultants to understand the clients project aims and to offer professional insight to ensure client satisfaction as well as representing the commercial interests.
• We always expect our consultants to be very self-sufficient when engaged in smaller assignments representing the company by themselves, always ensuring customer satisfaction through high quality work and outstanding client care.
• Responsible for developing and implementing the solution for our customers.
• You will act as the SME on Public Cloud and related technologies for the project delivery team. Strong experience in a multi-disciplined team is critical as is your ability to clearly communicate complex technology solutions.
• You will be responsible for defining tasks, scope and effort from user stories during user research sessions.
• You will be responsible for the production of high level and low-level design documents and other technical project related artefacts.
• You will be involved in the qualification and bid process for new opportunities providing relevant technical input into the process
Technical Experience
• Minimum of 12 years experience in IT engineering including at least 7 years supporting & implementing cloud-based infrastructure solutions.
• Work experience in multiple technology disciplines; required.
• 3-4 years of experience in Technical Lead role preferred
• Excellent Microsoft Azure experience in IaaS & PaaS workloads
• Existing experience in other cloud environments like AWS or GCP workloads will be preferred.
• An in depth understanding of Public/Private/Hybrid Cloud solutions and experienced in integrating public cloud into traditional hosting/delivery models with a specific focus on Azure.
• Extensive experience in conducting Azure Cloud Readiness Assessments observing business and technical perspectives
• Experience in evaluating existing data center and digital strategies
• Experience in conducting cloud service maps, TCO analysis, security considerations as part of a wider Cloud Adoption Framework
• Experience in developing project plans, solution architectures & deployment strategies for Azure based projects.
• Excellent experience in executing Azure deployment, migrations & lift/shifts.
• Strong knowledge of the Azure well Architected Framework(s) around IaaS & PaaS workloads
• Strong understanding of Cloud Security Principles and its practical implementations

• Understand IAM services like Active Directory & Entra ID.

Qualifications & Certifications
• Require a technical Bachelor of Science degree -- such as computer science, engineering -- prefer Master of Science. Additional certifications, both vendor specific and vendor neutral.
• Ideal candidate must have the following certifications,
• Microsoft Azure Architect Expert
• Candidates with additional Infrastructure certifications like MCSA, CCNA, VCP, PCNSA etc will be preferred.
• Candidates with certifications & knowledge in AWS & GCP as well will be preferred.
