Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Database Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our data infrastructure, you will be responsible for the design, deployment, and management of database infrastructure in support of our cloud products.
About the Role:
• Design, build, and implement databases and data integration frameworks for our marketing platform (Unica) and customer data platform (CDP).
• Manage and optimize databases for scalability, capacity, and performance.
• Implement secured on-premises and cloud database solutions through standardization, automation, optimization, availability, and scalability.
Requirements:Skills and Qualifications:
• 2+ years of experience in enterprise database management, administration, integration, and performance management.
• Proven expertise in the design, maintenance, and administration of relational databases like MySQL, MS-SQL, Oracle.
• Proficiency in no-SQL databases like MongoDB, Redis, etc is a plus.
• Highly knowledgeable of database architecture and internals.
• Proficient with database installation and configuration, clustering, backup, replication.
• Proficient with database performance tuning, monitoring, and alerting tools/processes.
• Knowledge of ETL development and tools (IBM DataStage, Microsoft SSIS, etc).
• Ability to work well within an agile team environment and applying related working methods.
