Job Description
1.Manage, support and maintain database environments adhering to the architectural guidelines,
policies, and best practices.
2.Install and maintain the administrative and monitoring tools necessary for HA
3.Diagnose and resolve database performance, capacity and replication issues.
4.Produces reports on database systems related to availability, performance, costs and SLAs
5.Implement & maintain security for DW ( including row-level ,column level, encryption, masking, etc)
6.Configuring and maintaining environment copies according to the Backup & DR strategy
7.Implementation of high-availability solutions such as multi-AZ, replication, and disaster recovery
solutions
8.Optimize data costs.
Experience:-
1.Minimum of 2 years hands-on experience as DBA.
2.Minimum of 1 year hands-on experience in Amazon Redshift .
3.Experience of working as DBA for other cloud data storage solutions in Amazon - RDS / DynamoDB
