About role
We are looking for Cloud Optimization Release Engineer in Cloud domain. Cloud Optimization Release Engineer will be the single point of contact for tracking the cloud cost across different projects. He/she will be coordinating the cloud optimization activities across different projects in the technology center. The engineer will perform role of coordination and follow up across different project teams. Planning releases and executing the plan will be primary responsibility. The role involves tracking cloud cost, action items and pending activities across the different projects. The Cloud Optimization Release Engineer is responsible for setting up and following on weekly cadence on the cloud optimization topic. The Release engineer will be responsible for updating the senior stake holders on the status and chasing the dependent teams to close the open activities.
Experience : 5+Yrs
Responsibilities
§ Track the cloud optimization project across different initiatives.
§ Proactively connect with various stakeholders and track the open items.
§ Proactively update the management on status of the activities.
§ Setup more frequent cadence across teams (project managers, Technical team, Senior stakeholders etc ) to manage the expectations and customization requests.
§ Very good in communication and presentation skills.
§ Collaborate with business and engineering teams to coordinate the dependencies and open activities.
Qualifications and Requirements
Required
§ Minimum 5+ years of experience in Release management and/or Project management
§ Excellent skills in tracking activities and chasing different teams to complete the tasks.
§ Excellent in tracking dependency management and following up with the different stakeholders..
§ Very good in presentation and communication skills.
§ Very proactive in terms of reaching out on the dependency and open items and closing them.
§ Knowledge of cloud infrastructure. (GCP, Azure, AWS)
Preferred
§ Strong technical background is preferred.
§ Knowlledge of turbonomics
