Cloud Graphics Driver developerJOB DESCRIPTIONCloud Graphics Driver developer Job DescriptionThe VMware Center of Excellence team is looking for a world-class software engineer with graphics device driver development experience to join our graphics virtualization, engineering team. The engineer will work in a highly collaborative and dynamic environment. The successful candidate should have solid Graphics development experience and have the ability to work with cross geo stakeholders. The work involves enabling graphics drivers for next-generation server products on the industry-leading virtualization platform. This is an excellent opportunity for someone to grow their career and influence Intel's growth in data center technologies. The candidate is responsible for developing multiple aspects of graphics software, memory management, scheduler, 3D Rendering, and Pre-silicon development. Possess the capability to work with various partners to enhance and improve graphics performance on upcoming processor graphics devices by analyzing performance issues in software drivers and applications, and implementing software performance improvements. Also responsible for providing internal and external feedback to implement upcoming graphics features in OSes to ensure our hardware and software will function and perform as expected on next-generation platforms as well as designing/developing/implementing graphics system-level software for future platforms.QualificationsRequired Qualifications: Solid understanding of computer architecture and server platform hardware Expertise in software/hardware interfaces for graphics Solid understanding of 3D graphics pipelines and rendering techniques Expertise in production device driver development in C programming with the internals of Linux operating systems Knowledge of ESXi operating systems will be added advantage.Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Degree in Computer Science Engineering with 4 years of experienceDesired Qualifications: Experience with performance benchmarks: analysis and optimization Knowledgeable in graphics APIs such as DirectX, OpenGL, and Vulkan Knowledgeable about SR-IOV, DMA, PCIe, Graphics, and Performance benchmarks to understand system performance using tools like emon/perfmon/Vtune
