THE ROLE
Role will include Production live customer support & Troubleshooting. Ideal candidate should have worked as a System Administrator or Cloud Infrastructure Administrator with good experience in Azure, Linux and Application servers. Should have experience in working with global clientele in multi-cultural environments.
Key Responsibilities
• Production live customer support & Troubleshooting
• Ability to execute on most tasks with minimal customer outage windows.
• Help automate and streamline our operations and processes.
• Installation of Linux servers and server hardening.
• Configure application server clusters (horizontal and vertical).
• Deliver on the committed SLA’s to the internal and external customers
• Drive process compliance and improvements within the teams
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in our production environments, assisting in the development and test environments when needed.
• Installation, Configuration and Management of application servers like Tomcat/JBoss/WebSphere/WebLogic
Skills & Experience
• BE/BTech/MCA candidates with 5 plus years of work experience required. Of which minimum 3 years in cloud operations is a MUST
• Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and cloud services (experience with AZURE or AWS is a MUST).
• Background in Linux/Unix Administration (MUST).
• Intermediate knowledge on scripting with bash, perl or python(Good to have)
• Understanding of IP address classes and managing the routes. Good knowledge on installation and configuration and support of Tomcat,
• Familiar with performance tuning and enable security restrictions. Good knowledge on hardware or software load balancers. Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Location: Bangalore/Chennai (Work from Office- 3 days from office and 2 days from home)
