Cloud Security Engineer

Job Summary:

The Cloud Security Engineer will oversee and ensure the security, protection of, and access to, the

company’s cloud infrastructure systems

and data.

Supervisory Responsibilities:



None.

Duties/Responsibilities:



Work with the Cyber Security Operations teams in the definition and

implementation of security standards and best practices.



Work within a DevOps security model so that

security is automated and elastic

across all cloud platforms.



Build and automate the creation of golden AMI images for teams to use. Security

tools baked into the image.



Lead effort with DevOps team to implement immutable servers and CICD pipeline

deployments.



Ensure consistent and policy compliant orchestration of cloud infrastructure

including base environments, application stacks, virtual servers, containers.



Work closely with functional

-

area architects, engineering, and security speciali

sts

throughout the company to ensure adequate security solutions and controls are in

place.



Provide subject matter expertise on, and conduct in

-

depth security reviews of

compute, network, database, middleware, containers, and other AWS services as they

are identified for use.



Develop scripts and automation to scale and accelerate the implementation and

audit of security configurations, risks, and assessments.



Respond to and, when appropriate, resolve or escalate security incidents.



Develop secur

ity and compliance capabilities in support of DevOps processes.



Responsible for a combination of system administration and platform engineering.



Participate in vulnerability management process, taking identified vulnerabilities

and working with team

to identify corrective action and remediation.



Lead effort to implement security policies and remediation processes.



Develop and maintain documentation and diagrams for security tools, system

environments, and cloud operations.

Required

Skills/Abilities:



Strong familiarity with Linux and Windows operating systems and cloud provider

ecosystems like Amazon AWS.



Practical knowledge of AWS foundation services related to compute, network,

storage, content delivery, administration and sec

urity, deployment and management,

automation technologies.



Extensive knowledge of data communications security procedures.



Ability to install security software to monitor system usage.



Excellent verbal and written communication skills.



Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.



Strong analytical and problem

-

solving skills.



Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer

Science, Computer Engineering, or related field required.



Three years of related experience preferred.

Salary: ₹2,800,000.00 - ₹3,000,000.00 per year
