Job Description
We are looking for highly motivated Cloud engineer.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and management of cloud system architectures guaranteeing high availability, top performance and reliability being involved in continuous operation and improvements.
• Guarantee continuous integration and continuous delivery of our software.
• Design and management of container-based hosting environments.
• Support to incident and problem management to identify root cause and fix, define and put in place improvements to avoid the problem occurring again.
• Interact with customers, understanding their requirements, help them to find the best technological solution for their needs.
• Analyse and improve systems’ performance & scalability and automate systems management.
Required Technical And Professional Expertise
• 4+ Years of experience in Cloud.
• Good knowledge of IaaS and PaaS offerings.
• Strong AWS or Google cloud experience.
• Experience of infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Experience using containers like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Exposure to automate build and deployment pipelines.
• Experience on standard cloud IT security practices.
• Experience in Chef /Puppet /Ansible or similar.
• Strong understanding of continuous testing environments such as Jenkins.
• Strong skills in Github or similar.
• Strong scripting experience (PowerShell, Python, SQL, BASH)
• Strong understanding of Unix/Linux environments and basic system administration (service restarts, network configuration, file transfers and modifications, etc.)
• Experience and practical knowledge of networking protocols (firewalls, routing, subnetting)
• Min 1 implementation end to end
• Excellent problem-solving skills, good communication skills and interpersonal skills.
Nice To Have
• Experience in implementing high scalable apps
• Experience on SonarQube integration
• Experience in Cloud migrations
• Some experience with large-scale Database/Data Warehouse technologies, ETL, analytics and cloud technologies
