The Role
We are seeking experienced Software Development Engineers with a strong background in system design to join our team. As a member of our organization, you will support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (Iot), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and build reusable, maintainable, and performant software consistent with Amazon standard technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop best-in-class software systems for automating Amazon's network
- Provide technical direction to the team and identify areas of focus
- Collaborate with other teams to deliver complex changes
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation to troubleshoot high-severity issues
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
