Job Description
The Cloud Operations department is an "automation" first culture.Join the team that fuels our high rate of infrastructure growth.As a member of the automation team, you will enable cloud operation engineers and database administrators to complete their work in a secure, rapid, reliable, and scalable manner using the latest automation technologies.
Additional Responsibilities Include The Following
• Expand application layer configuration management
• Implement configuration drift monitoring and alerting
• Engage in department and cross departmental business process optimization.
• Perform ad-hoc development work in support of department initiatives.
Requirements
• 5+ years software development experience
• Expert experience with .NET, C#, and Powershell
• Experience with Terraform and infrastructure as code.
• Experience with configuration automation tools (Jenkins, Ansible, Chef)
• Experience working with containers and automation in Kubernetes space.
• Experience working with web APIs
• Experience in orchestration and automation tools (EMC Vipr, vRealize Orchestrator, vRealize Automation, ServiceNow)
• Experience in design, implementation, and servicing of technology platforms
• Strong design skills. Ability to resolve ambiguity and create well designed, sustainable solutions.
• Strong understand of the standards and best practices of IT infrastructure automation.
• Able to work independently and in a team environment.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with PHP and Python
• Experience with cloud infrastructure both public and private.
• Experience with continuous integration technologies
• Experience with ServiceNow Service Catalog
