Job Summary
LA Fitness is seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Club Pride Staff. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our members. The ideal candidate will possess skills in commercial cleaning, facilities maintenance, and custodial services, ensuring that all areas of the club are well-kept and presentable.
Responsibilities
• Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, mopping, and sanitizing all areas of the fitness club.
• Conduct floor care activities such as buffing and waxing to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Assist with industrial cleaning tasks as needed to ensure all equipment and facilities are in optimal condition.
• Maintain cleanliness in locker rooms, restrooms, and communal areas to provide a pleasant experience for members.
• Support residential painting projects within the facility to enhance the overall aesthetic appeal.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while performing all cleaning duties.
Qualifications
• Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred.
• Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
• Excellent organizational skills with the capability to manage time efficiently.
• Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks which may include lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
