We’re Hiring: Area Credit Manager – Construction Finance | Grade 3

???? Location: Delhi/Bangalore

???? Department: Credit – Construction Finance

???? Experience: 6–8 years | Preferred Background: NBFC / Banking

???? Education: CA or MBA (Finance preferred)

???? What You’ll Do

You’ll lead the credit underwriting and risk assessment for construction finance proposals, manage vendor relationships, and maintain compliance while ensuring efficient turnaround times (TAT) and portfolio quality. You’ll also be the anchor for credit operations, working closely with business teams and vendors to deliver excellence.

???? Key Responsibilities
• Underwrite construction finance applications as per sanctioning authority and policy.
• Oversee vendors (FI, valuation, PD agencies) and ensure SLA adherence and quality deliverables.
• Drive timely billing, payouts, and vendor relationship management.
• Partner with State Credit Manager and business stakeholders to track credit KPIs, including TAT and approval rates.
• Own portfolio performance including delinquency management (FEMI, SEMI, TEMI buckets).
• Share key MIS reports regularly with stakeholders.
• Conduct training sessions for internal teams and vendors to improve credit quality and efficiency.

✅ What You Bring
• 6–8 years of credit underwriting experience, ideally in construction finance.
• Strong command over financial statement analysis and credit risk assessment.
• Proven stakeholder and vendor management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• A bias for compliance, precision, and collaboration.
