Welbornhenson is currently seeking an experienced CNC & Beam Saw Operator at a Cabinet/Millwork Shop for a full-time position.
Our shop near downtown Atlanta produces custom architectural millwork for commercial projects. We are AWI certified and maintain the highest standards in our work. Our projects are varied – everything from medical facilities, institutional and fine dining concepts, to senior communities, hotels & apartment buildings.
What you will be doing:
As a CNC & Beam Saw Machinist, you will be hands-on, creating the parts for our casework & millwork projects. You will bring the highest level of professionalism and quality of work to every project you undertake.

Essential Duties and Requirements:
Create parts as directed by shop supervisor and engineering department
Meet production goals with precision
Continuously monitor your progress to optimize the efficiency of projects
Problem-solve issues arising in the shop to help complete your task in a timely manner
Interact positively and immediately with management to keep projects progressing
Maintain your tools and work environment in a safe and clean way
Respect the areas where you work as if they were your own
Must be able to lift 70 pounds
Must be able to stand for the full shift
Maintain a professional appearance and attitude in all interactions
Experience and Training:
Required:
Three years of experience in custom woodwork, millwork, casework and/or cabinet shop
One year experience operating a CNC Machine
One year experience operating a Beam Saw/Automated Panel Sizing Saw
Proficient using woodworking machines: jointer, planer, table saw, miter saw, etc.
Proficient using power tools & hand tools safely
Able to read shop drawings & instructions
Knowledge of general construction practices and details
Knowledge of general safety practices or OSHA training
Able to work independently and take responsibility for quality work
Able to prioritize and organize effectively
Must be dependable
Knowledge of basic mathematics including fractions
Optional:
Experience with laminate and solid surface
Experience in metalwork, welding, polishing, or grinding
Experience in prepping, painting, or finishing
Experience with assembling millwork or casework
