CNC Machinist

We are seeking a reliable and skilled CNC Machinist with a minimum of 3 years' hands-on experience operating both CNC mills and lathes. The ideal candidate will be proficient in setup, operation, and basic programming, with a strong focus on precision, safety, and maintaining high-quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC milling and lathe machines to produce precision parts as per specifications

Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documents

Perform in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools

Make necessary machine adjustments to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy

Maintain machine performance through basic troubleshooting and routine maintenance

Work closely with team members to meet production goals and timelines

Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized workspace

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years’ experience operating both CNC mills and CNC lathes

Strong understanding of machining processes, speeds, feeds, and tooling

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and use precision measuring instruments

Basic programming/editing experience (Fanuc or similar control systems preferred)

High attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship

Capable of working independently and as part of a team

High School Diploma or equivalent required

Forklift or overhead crane experience is an asset

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
