Gardena based CNC Machine shop in need of experienced set up person.
JOB DESCRIPTION
-Create programs with GibbsCam
-Operate and set up vertical, horizontal, and 5 axis cnc mills.
- Review electronic or written blueprints or specifications for a job.
- Monitor and control feed rate and speed.
- Ensure workpiece is properly lubricated and/or cooled.
- Monitor the accuracy of cuts.
- Check accuracy of work against blueprints and specifications.
- Performs other duties as assigned or requested.
- Familiarity of DMG Mori,Fadal, Fanuc and Siemens control
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent. Technical, vocational, or military training or related experience preferred.
- Minimum of 6+ years of machining experience
- Must be able to comprehend blueprints, work orders, and other technical documents.
