We are currently recruiting for CNC Millers for a very successful and extremely busy machine shop. The company produces a range of high class machined products to exacting tolerances and need an additional CNC Miller to join their team. The work is small batches and excellent working conditions with first class machinery in a very clean (for a machine shop) environment which has a very low turnover of staff, due to the company's ethos regarding employee welfare. In addition to very regular salary reviews they also have a comprehensive benefits package. It is working 2 shift rotating system consisting of early (6-2) and late (2-10) shifts commutable from Sheffield, Barnsley, Wakefield, Huddersfield and Halifax.

CNC Miller - Role and Responsibilities - Milling, Machinist, Hedenhain, Fanuc, /Setter/Operator/Programmer, G+M Code
• Setting and operating of multi-axis machining centres
• Editing and adjusting programs at the machine using Heidenhain and Fanuc controls
• Liaising with production engineers to develop new projects and optimise route cards
• Problem solving and continuous improvement
• Strict adherence to written processes & procedures

CNC Miller - Skills and Abilities - Milling, Machinist, Hedenhain, Fanuc, /Setter/Operator/Programmer, G+M Code
• Experienced on 3 axis VMCs (4th and 5th axis a bonus)
• Enthusiastic and diligent in your work
• Qualified via Apprenticeship or Experience
• Team player offers help to other members of the team when necessary
• Ability to read engineering drawings
• Ability to work to very fine limits and adept with Inspection techniques. In-process inspection using CMMs and various manual measuring equipment
