Job Title: CNC Operator cum Programmer (FANUC Controls Preferred)
Department: Manufacturing / Production
Reports To: Production Manager / Supervisor
Shift Type: Rotational (3 Shifts)
Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator cum Programmer with hands-on experience in operating and programming CNC-VMC machines. The ideal candidate will have expertise in 2D and 3D programming, preferably with FANUC controls, and demonstrate strong interpretation of mechanical drawings and blueprints. This role is crucial in ensuring precision machining operations, maintaining quality standards, and supporting production efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and operate CNC machines including drilling, grinding, milling, etc.
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and job orders to determine machining operations.
• Develop and input machine programs using G-code and M-code, particularly for FANUC systems.
• Load raw materials and workpieces into machines.
• Conduct trial runs and first-article inspections to verify accuracy of machine output.
• Operate CNC machines throughout production runs, ensuring adherence to timelines and specifications.
• Monitor and adjust machine operations as needed to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Perform in-process and final inspections using appropriate metrology tools and techniques.
• Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of CNC machinery.
• Adhere to company safety protocols and quality management systems (ISO standards).
• Maintain accurate records of production activities and inspection results.
Qualifications
• ITI in Machinist / Fitter or equivalent.
• 5–10 years of hands-on experience in CNC-VMC machine operations and programming (2D/3D).
• Proficient in using FANUC controls for programming and operations.
Key Skills And Competencies
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
• Solid understanding of CNC programming (G-code, M-code).
• Experience using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.).
• Knowledge of ISO quality standards and practices.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
• Adherence to safety and operational procedures.

• Facilities Provided: Statutory compliance ensured. No canteen or transport facilities available.
