About the Position:
The CNC Programming Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate programming into manufacturing processes, ensuring high-quality output and efficient production.
Main Responsibilities:
Develop and refine CNC programs using Siemens NX CAM software
Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate programming into design and development processes
Analyze and troubleshoot program issues to ensure optimal performance
Develop and maintain documentation for CNC programs and setup sheets
Requirements:
Expert proficiency in Siemens NX CAM software, particularly 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machining
Ability to generate, simulate, and validate toolpaths offline using advanced algorithms
Strong understanding of GD&T principles, machining tolerances, and industry standards
Familiarity with cutting tools, fixtures, and optimal machining strategies
Experience working with metallic and non-metallic aerospace materials
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to troubleshoot complex programming issues
