Fourway Coaches are recruiting two additional coach drivers to join its team based in Cleckheaton. The successful applicants will operate a variety of work including private hire (local and long-distance UK), rail replacement, sports transport, school hires, home-to-school journeys, airport transfers etc. – There will also be an opportunity for multi-day tour work, subject to satisfactory performance on other kinds of work.
Applicants need to be of smart appearance – We will provide full uniform (shirt, tie, trousers, shoes, jacket) which will need to be worn smartly. Applicants also need to be very reliable and dependable, as our customers rely heavily on a punctual arrival. Duties will include undertaking first-use checks, operating our coaches safely and comfortably, fuelling / washing / cleaning the coach at the end of each duty, using a digital tachograph card in a manner which is compliant with EU drivers hours regulations, treating our customers professionally and ensuring that our coaches are looked after.
In return, we offer a guaranteed 40hr paid week, 28 days paid holiday per year including Bank Holidays, free on-site parking and access to various employee benefits through our employee benefits scheme. Pay rates range from £14.25 - £16.25 depending on days worked.
It may be possible for applicants to work fixed days each week, on the condition that either a Saturday or a Sunday is worked. This can be discussed further at interview.
