About KStudy Learning
KStudy Learning provides personalized, in-home academic support tailored to each child’s learning style and pace. We work closely with families to deliver structured, engaging lessons that build confidence, strengthen academic foundations, and support diverse learning needs.
We are currently seeking a versatile and compassionate instructor who can teach Coding and English to young learners under 12yrs, including experience supporting children on the spectrum. The ideal candidate will also be comfortable teaching additional subjects such as Math, depending on student needs.
Role Overview
This role involves delivering individualized lessons in students’ homes across Ottawa. We are looking for an educator who combines technical knowledge with patience, adaptability, and creativity especially when working with learners who benefit from structured, supportive instruction.
The instructor should be comfortable teaching multiple subjects where required and adjusting teaching approaches to suit different learning profiles.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging Coding and English lessons tailored to young learners.
Adapt instruction to support children on the spectrum using structured, supportive strategies.
Provide additional subject support (e.g., Math) where needed.
Develop personalized lesson plans aligned with the student’s learning pace.
Track progress and provide feedback to parents.
Create a calm, encouraging, and structured learning environment.
Travel to students’ homes for scheduled sessions.
Be available for additional student assignments where subject expertise aligns.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Experience teaching Coding, Math, English etc at the elementary level.
Experience working with children on the autism spectrum or diverse learning needs.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to adapt teaching strategies to individual learners.
Patient, organized, and creative approach to instruction.
Comfortable teaching more than one subject.
Transportation Requirement
A valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle are required, as instructors will travel to students’ homes across Ottawa.
Preferred Qualifications
Background in Education, Computer Science, English, or related field.
Experience teaching Math at the elementary level.
Experience with structured learning approaches and individualized education strategies.
Prior in-home tutoring experience.
