Service Technician / Delivery Driver
The Coffee Connection Ltd. requires a Service Technician/Delivery Driver for on-site customer service and light/medium deliveries, in a company van. As well, this position has on-site technical support responsibilities in the installation and maintenance of various types of coffee brewers ranging from traditional brewing equipment, single cup capsule equipment, and bean-to-cup equipment makes/models from a variety of manufactures.
This is a permanent full-time position.
No Previous experience necessary.
Willing to train the right person.
Work week is Monday to Friday.
Daily hours of work are 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM including ½ hour unpaid lunchbreak.
Starting salary is $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 - per year during the 6 month probationary period.
Selected candidate will be trained as part of their initial 6 month probation period.
Start Date is immediate.
Customer Service Technician/Driver Driver will be responsible for:
- Attend on-site at customers to deliver and distribute products and supplies
- While on site clean installed coffee brewers and peripheral equipment
- Attend on-site to respond to and resolve reported equipment malfunction
- Supporting the inspection of and performance of periodic and preventive maintenance on coffee appliances (including their electronic components) in the field and warehouse.
Successful candidate:
Will hold a class 5 driver’s license or higher
Have a clean driver’s abstract
Will pass a police security review
There is no-smoking at any time while at work.
Prior industry / food service experience is highly valued.
The Coffee Connection will provide training on equipment through online manufacturers course, continuous training and occasional travel to trade specific shows and manufacturers locations throughout Canada and USA..
The company follows all Alberta Labor Standards and Revenue Canada guidelines
