Job Description
In this critical role, you will take on complex assignments that support our client’s portfolios of commercial real estate loans. You will produce high-quality deliverables efficiently and effectively, even with minimal oversight, while also mentoring less experienced staff.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review and approve system-generated reports and client deliverables ensuring compliance and accuracy.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external clients to address inquiries about the servicing of commercial real estate loans.
• Conduct thorough proofing of transactions and initiate fund transfers in line with Loan Terms and Servicing Agreements.
• Maintain compliance with internal policies and contractual obligations while delivering excellent service to clients.
• Generate and oversee accurate source data reflecting borrowers’ obligations within the servicing system.
• Summarize research findings to respond to inquiries from stakeholders, including Borrowers, Lenders, and Audit agencies.
• Design and develop spreadsheet templates and financial models to analyze various loan metrics, ensuring accuracy in data and formulas.
• Ensure compliance with all Servicing Standards and identify exceptions that require special processing.
• Oversee the preparation of periodic reports, account reconciliations, and any necessary Officer Certificates as per Servicing Agreements.
• Exhibit a team-oriented approach by supporting colleagues and contributing to special projects as needed.
• Propose process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
• Assist in compiling internal reports and collaborate with Asset Managers and the Portfolio Management Team.
• Work with specialized teams focusing on areas such as Asset Management, Portfolio Management, and Treasury Services.
• Participate in additional tasks as assigned by your manager.
Qualifications:
• Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, Real Estate, Business, or relevant experience.
• 5+ years of relevant experience, ideally in positions akin to Senior Analyst or similar roles.
• Strong ability to learn new tasks and adapt while demonstrating professional behavior.
• Preferably, some leadership experience with small teams.
• Proven capability to identify and proactively address potential issues.
• Advanced Excel skills, with experience in utilizing formulas and macros.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in teams as well as independently, ensuring high-quality output.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
The salary for this role ranges from $56,000.00 to $75,000.00, with the final offer based on skills, experience, and market alignment. Qualified positions may also receive a discretionary bonus based on performance. Full-time employees are eligible for various benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401K.
