Posting description The Collections specialty operations team services various requests of Card & Consumer banking for cease & desist, bankruptcy, general correspondence, account record request, attorney representation, fulfillment & estates handling. Job responsibilities Recognizing areas for automation. Re-Engineer Existing reports as per Business needs. Use Reporting Tool to rapidly generate impactful, interactive visualizations Take the lead on the visual design for projects to ensure by using best practices and that dashboards are as usable, elegant, and informative as possible. Own dashboard projects from start to finish, collaborate with other team members in a dashboard advisory capacity Regularly demonstrate and implement the numerous capabilities of SAS and SQL such as multi-source data pull, data blending, table calculations, advanced calculated fields, advanced statistical analysis, guided analytics, custom coding, etc. Exhibit thought leadership and demonstrate analytical thinking to gain insights from data. Identify new opportunities to bring new process improvements. Quickly assesses the big picture in complex situations and identify what is critical Analyzing the data so as to identify trends and share insights. Support internal and external processes and workflows, suggest improvements based on data analysis and provide insights into the enterprise operations. Work with business domain experts to identify data relevant for analysis Extract reports/ data, analyze and provide recommendations for the project undertaken Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills The candidate should have at least 2+ years of relevant experience in analysis in cards, retail, finance or other consumer-oriented business with large customer databases and minimum of 2+ years of experience in SAS, SQL Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline; Engineering, Math, Finance, Statistics, Economics, data analytics or equivalent work/training is required; advanced degree is preferred. Strong executive presence and ability to interact with top executives while retaining an ability to interact with all levels within the organization. Proven knowledge of data visualization best practices and ability create stunning dashboards Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint). Proficiency in critical thinking and problem solving. Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to guide and conduct research and gain valuable insights from data. Experience in large scale data handling. Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills Knowledge of Unix, Tableau , Alteryx is a plus Experience working with the US Retail market is a plus.
