About the role
The Property & Rating department is currently seeking an enthusiastic and passionate learner who is an outstanding team player and looking to work with the Property & Revenue team to join us in the role Collections & Property Revenue Officer on a 12-month temporary full-time basis.
The primary objectives of the position are to deliver high levels of customer service and be effective and efficient in its operations, provide efficient and effective debt collection, payment plan implementation, monitoring and advise to ratepayers, rates administrative assistance for the Property Revenue team, assist with maintaining an accurate rating financial database, implementation of a guideline for the Name and Address Records system and to ensure compliance with the relevant Acts, policies, procedures, practices, and systems as they relate to the Property Revenue functions.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the following:
Excellent organisational skills and ability to work as an effective team member are essential as well as being able to manage and prioritise workload.
Must be a professional communicator who is experienced in dealing with internal stakeholders.
Knowledge of the Property & Rating functions and legislations, debt collection experience as well as proficiency in the operation of relevant systems (Property & Revenue) and Microsoft Office with intermediate to advanced excel skills is essential.

You may be required to undertake practical testing, work preference profiling / psychometric testing, functional capacity assessment (physical) or aptitude testing.
