Responsibilities
Efficiently manage and monitor accounts receivable balances for all product lines
Work with customers to find solutions for outstanding balances and facilitate arrangements for bringing accounts up to date
Update and maintain detailed file records of customer communication and closure of collection efforts
Maintain effective communication with customers via email and phone
Process refunds with proper approvals and generate monthly statements
Assist accounts receivable team in distributing invoices, charging credit card payments and depositing checks
Collaborate with other departments to solve collection issues
Proactively seek solutions to problems and find opportunities for improvements
Work closely with assistant controller and accounts receivable team
Additional duties and projects as assigned to meet business needs
Job description
Beginning with the iconic Chicago Daily Law Bulletin® in 1854, we have steadily grown our business-critical and award-winning content. Law Bulletin Media is a diversified information company serving the legal, real estate and financial markets.
We are looking for a Collections Assoicate, working under the close direction of the Collection Manager, to initiate calls with delinquent customers by phone and email to collect payments and settle accounts.
Essential Functions:
• Efficiently manage and monitor accounts receivable balances for all product lines

Position Qualifications:
• Some College is preferred
• 2 – 5 year of general work experience.
