Color Assistant (Freelance)
A well-known brand is seeking a detail-oriented Freelance Color Assistant to support our Raw Materials team for a 3 month assignment. This role is fully onsite and is ideal for someone who enjoys organization, precision, and working with product development teams in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Sample & Mail Intake – Receive all color-related mail and packages, verify contents, log items into tracking tools, and ensure timely distribution to the appropriate team members.
• Color File Management – Organize and maintain physical and digital color files to support efficient review and decision-making by the Raw Materials and Product teams.
• Record Keeping – Update internal systems with accurate color data, approvals, and comments; create and update folders for new submissions and archive completed work.
• Color Continuity Support – Help maintain seasonal color continuity tools/cards, ensuring consistency across styles, seasons, and collections.
• Cross-Functional Coordination – Assist in preparing, routing, and tracking color submissions and lab dips for internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Tracking & Reporting – Log submissions in and out as they move between teams, keeping timelines and status reports up to date.
Qualifications
• Strong sense of ownership with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Flexible, positive attitude with a willingness to support shifting priorities.
• Highly organized, able to handle multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills; comfortable interacting with multiple teams.
• Experience in product development, production, or materials coordination is a plus but not required.
