Job Description
We are looking for a creative and talented Comedy Content Writer to join our team. As a comedy content writer, you will be responsible for creating and developing funny characters, situations, scenes, and dialogue. You will work closely with other comedy writers and creators to develop stories and write scripts. You will also be responsible for revising and improving the jokes and comedic situations in scripts, which is known as “punching up” scripts.
Requirements
• Proven work experience as a comedy writer or similar role.
• Portfolio of published articles.
• Experience doing research using multiple sources.
• Excellent writing and editing skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in writing comedy for TV shows, movies, or theater productions.
• Familiarity with Content Management Systems (e.g., WordPress).
• Ability to collaborate with other writers and creators.
