Commercial Account Director - Government - Hybrid

Job Description

We are looking for an accomplished Strategic Account Director to lead our Government Portfolio. Based in either Sydney or Melbourne, you will drive growth, engagement, and revenue generation through existing Government portfolio's and expanding our government footprint. Your role will involve strategic upselling and identifying new business opportunities. You will also be responsible for delivering tailored solutions from our suite of world-class offerings, including Decisioning software, Credit Bureau data, Open Banking Solutions, and Fraud & ID offerings.

Our ideal candidate is a professional with a proven track record in managing a government portfolio. You will represent our company as a trusted advisor, demonstrating deep industry knowledge and a commitment to excellence. Collaborating with teams, you will ensure outcomes for both Experian and our valued clients.

Your primary responsibility will be to achieve sales targets by understanding client needs and aligning our solutions with their commercial goals. Your agility and curiosity, will be essential. We seek someone with strong sales methodology.


What you'll be doing

Sales Generation
Lead and expand relationships with 40+ existing relationships
Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts and proactively pursue new business across key identified federal and state government panels
Taking the commercial lead in achieving positive bidding outcomes
Align Experian's value propositions with client business drivers
Champion Experian values
Maintaining ang growing the existing revenue footprint within the strategic accounts.
Maintaining a Client Focus
Deliver exceptional Client Focus, targeting industry leading Net Promoter Score achievement.
Become a Trusted Advisor and go-to Subject Matter Expert for your customers, participating in the development of key solutions to make their business more successful

Experience and Skills

Qualifications

You have 5-10 years selling into Government
You will demonstrate a history in complex sales and understanding complex solutions
You work with an enthusiastic outlook and a team orientation
Advanced communication, presentation and listening skills
A consultative and approachable manner
