About the role
In this role you will be responsible for:
Preparing and processing invoices for the Commercial Business Unit, including sponsors, suppliers, media rights, and sports betting.
Assisting with the preparation of monthly financial management reports, profit & loss, and balance sheets.
Supporting budget planning, monthly reviews, and reforecasting processes alongside the Finance Business Partner.
Contributing to Australian Open prize money office and assisting in system and account maintenance tasks.
Providing support in accounts receivable and other finance-related duties as required.
About you
To be successful in this role you will:
Have a CA qualification (or equivalent) or be working towards qualification in the near future.
Experience within a Big 4 or Mid-Tier firm is preferable, but not essential.
Bring strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work across diverse stakeholder groups.
Have excellent time management and organisational abilities to meet tight deadlines and prioritise work effectively.
Demonstrate a strong understanding of accounting principles, reporting, and budgeting processes.
Be a collaborative team player with the flexibility to support high-profile events like the Australian Open.
Hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children Check.
Preparedness to be flexible in regard to working hours and arrangements relating to work associated with Tennis Australia.
