As a Commercial Associate you will support a Commercial Manager whose portfolio includes New Zealand businesses with Asian ownership, customer bases, or trade flows. You will manage day to day portfolio needs, assess and process credit applications, build strong customer connections and contribute to great customer outcomes. You will play an important role in delivering high quality credit work, supporting customer relationships and helping businesses succeed through tailored financial solutions. This is a meaningful opportunity to develop your commercial banking skills while contributing to customer success across diverse industries.

For this role we are looking for a commercially minded relationship and credit support professional. We would love to hear from you if you have experience in the following:
Proven ability to assess financial information and complete credit analysis
Strong understanding of Business or Commercial Banking products and practices
Experienced in supporting customers involved in import and export activity, including trade with Asian markets
Confident in analysing financials, identifying risks and structuring appropriate lending solutions
Strong relationship management skills with the ability to build trust quickly
You do not need to tick every box here to be considered! Above all we are looking for someone who brings strong analytical capability, genuine customer care and a motivation to grow their career in commercial banking.
