CITYCLEAN LIMITED, a professional cleaning services provider known for delivering quality services, is looking for multiple Commercial Cleaners to join its team in the Auckland.
This role requires travel mainly within the Auckland region, and you may also be required to travel to the Waikato region depending on business needs. The employer will cover all travel costs and fuel expenses.
Key Duties:
Clean, stock and supply designated facility areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc.)
Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities
Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects
Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
Make adjustments and minor repairs
Stock and maintain supply rooms
Cooperate with the rest of the staff
Follow all health and safety regulations
Emptying waste bins or similar receptacles, transporting waste material to designated collection points.
Sweeping floors with brushes or dust control mops.
Mopping floors with wet or damp mops.
Suction cleaning carpeted areas and “spot” cleaning carpets.
Using electrically powered scrubbing and polishing machines to burnish, scrub, polish and spray clean floors (after receiving proper instruction and training).
Using electrically powered pick up machines.
To dust, damp wipe, wash or polish furniture, ledges, window sills, external surfaces of cupboards, radiators, shelves and fitments.
To replenish consumable items (soap, toilet rolls, paper towels) if required within the contract.
To clean toilets, urinals, hand basins, sinks, baths, showers and drinking fountains.
The use of chemical agents as directed by the Supervising Officer in the discharge of cleaning operations or maintenance procedures, after receiving proper instructions and training.
To undertake wall washing or inside window pane cleaning to a height no greater than body height plus an arm’s extension from floor level, during periodic cleaning maintenance programmes.
Cleaners employed in domestic science areas are required to clean cookers and work surface areas.
To carry out any other reasonable duties within the overall function of the job.
Required to work for a minimum of 30 hours per week and will be paid between $25 to $30 per hour.
Other requirements for the role:
Relevant work experience is preferred but not mandatory.
A valid and clean driver's licence is required.
Must be available to work on weekends and night shifts.
Physically fit to perform various tasks.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
