Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, with the ability to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair various HVAC equipment. The technician will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance of HVAC systems in residential and commercial properties.
Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including refrigeration units and ammonia refrigeration systems.
Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings to understand system layouts and components.
Conduct routine inspections of HVAC systems to identify issues and perform necessary repairs.
Troubleshoot mechanical problems and provide effective solutions to enhance system efficiency.
Perform property maintenance tasks related to HVAC systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Drive company van to various job sites for installations and service calls as needed.
Collaborate with team members on design projects for new HVAC installations or upgrades.
Requirements
Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role with a solid understanding of HVAC systems.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to plumb and work with refrigerants safely.
Familiarity with property maintenance practices is a plus.
Ability to read schematics and technical documentation effectively.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for van driving responsibilities.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
