We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive professional to lead the development and maintenance of policies in alignment with BOQ’s strategic objectives and evolving regulatory requirements. This role is responsible for the timely review and enhancement of policies, coordination of approved changes with key stakeholders, and ensuring consistency across related processes, procedures, and training.

You will also be involved in the preparation and administration of Delegated Approval Authorities (DAAs), including the creation, maintenance, and termination of DAA records as needed. You will demonstrate a strong understanding of risk—particularly policy risk—and possess the ability to interpret legislation and legal guidance effectively.

A sound knowledge of the commercial banking market, competitor products, and broader industry drivers is essential, along with the capacity to adapt to ongoing change. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong stakeholder engagement capabilities, and a proven ability in negotiation, dispute resolution, decision-making, and problem-solving.

A high level of attention to detail, along with the ability to prioritise effectively in a dynamic environment, will be key to your success in this position.
