Job Description:
You’ll be out in the field—independent, trusted, and hands-on—servicing and repairing a wide range of commercial cooking equipment, including:
Ranges, Fryers, Griddles, Charbroilers, and Ovens (Pizza, Convection, Deck, Broiler)
Steamers, Combi Ovens, Heated Cabinets, Kettles, and Tilting Skillets
And more across diverse customer environments: hospitals, restaurants, nursing homes, cafeterias, fire departments, and beyond.
Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair commercial kitchen equipment quickly and effectively
Deliver top-notch customer service and communicate with clients on-site
Recommend preventative maintenance services to help clients minimize downtime
Keep your service vehicle and truck inventory organized and stocked
Represent Service Plus with professionalism and pride
Skills
Must-haves:
2+ years of commercial appliance and/or refrigeration experience
Strong electrical, plumbing, and mechanical troubleshooting skills
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to work independently and manage your daily route
High school diploma or GED
A commitment to customer satisfaction and quality workmanship
Experience diagnosing and installing commercial kitchen equipment
EPA certification or refrigeration experience
Nice-to-haves:
OEM or CFESA training
