About the Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Leasing Executive to join our team. As a key member of our Property & Assets team, you will be responsible for leading our property leasing, projects, and contract management functions across the national portfolio.
You will have the opportunity to bring your extensive leadership and industry experience into the organisation and shape the operating model in a way that benefits MPI.
Your responsibilities will include:
Leading property leasing, projects, and contract management functions across the national portfolio.
Developing commercial acumen across the team and leveraging your experience in a large organisation on a national portfolio level.
Supporting the Director Property & Assets with strategic portfolio planning, overseeing, and directing the writing of business and investment cases, development agreements, lease agreements, PMO maturity, contract rationalisation, and contract management competence.
Counselling and mentoring Property and Assets team members and using your influencing skills as a trusted adviser across MPI, other agencies, and the broader property industry.
Requirements:
Extensive leadership and industry experience.
Strong commercial acumen and ability to develop it across the team.
Excellent influencing skills and ability to work with senior stakeholders.
Ability to travel approximately once every two to three months.
Current full New Zealand driver licence or equivalent full foreign drivers licence.
