Our prestigious law firm is seeking to hire a Permanent Litigation Associate Attorney with a specialized focus in commercial litigation, construction, and real estate. The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter with a passion for litigation and a desire to make a significant impact in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with a team of experienced attorneys, handle complex litigation matters, and provide strategic legal advice to our diverse client base.
Responsibilities
As a Litigation Associate Attorney, you will be responsible for managing your caseload, which includes a variety of commercial litigation, construction, and real estate matters. Your responsibilities will include
• Handling all aspects of litigation, including drafting pleadings, discovery, motion practice, trial preparation, and court appearances.
• Representing clients in arbitrations, mediations, and trials.
• Providing strategic legal advice to clients on a variety of complex commercial litigation, construction, and real estate matters.
• Conducting legal research and analysis to develop effective litigation strategies.
• Collaborating with a team of attorneys to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients.
• Meeting the firm's billable hours requirement of 1800 hours per year.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications
• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Must be barred in Arizona (AZ).
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial litigation, with a focus on construction and real estate.
• Proven track record of successfully managing a diverse caseload.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop effective relationships with clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines and achieve results.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and creatively in the face of complex legal issues.
• Demonstrated commitment to professional ethics and client confidentiality.
