Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Commercial Litigation Solicitor with a minimum of 3 years' post-qualification experience (PQE) to join our dynamic team in Liverpool. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in handling complex commercial disputes and a strong understanding of litigation processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage a varied caseload of commercial litigation matters, including but not limited to contractual disputes, shareholder disputes, and professional negligence claims.
• Provide expert legal advice and representation to clients in relation to debt recovery and dispute resolution strategies.
• Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, statements of case, and settlement agreements.
• Conduct legal research and analyse case law to support litigation strategies.
• Represent clients in court and other dispute resolution forums, including mediation and arbitration.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing timely updates and strategic advice.
• Collaborate with colleagues across various practice areas to deliver comprehensive legal services.
• Contribute to business development initiatives, including networking and marketing efforts to enhance the firm’s profile in the commercial litigation sector.
• Mentor and supervise junior team members, fostering their professional development.
Qualifications + Experience:
• Qualified Solicitor with at least 3 years of post-qualification experience in commercial litigation.
• Strong knowledge of relevant laws and regulations pertaining to commercial disputes, debt recovery, and dispute resolution.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively and efficiently.
• Demonstrated client-focused approach with a strong commitment to achieving the best outcomes for clients.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
